I first dipped my foot into the book blogging community in September 2010 and my first blog, Darkly Honest, ran from then until early 2015. Since that time, I’ve felt a piece of me missing. Coming back to book blogging after so long feels surreal and a lot has changed, but I’m just happy to be here.
My name is Lizzie Augustine and I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember. My days in childhood were spent imagining up new worlds when I should’ve been outside playing. I “wrote” a picture book series at age 7 and began writing novels at the start of my teenage years. I completed my first novel, the first in a planned sci-fi thriller trilogy, at 19 with plans to return to it at a later time. My current WIP is a standalone YA paranormal about a boy who’s dead and the girl who sees him. This book is close to my heart and I can’t wait to share it with the world one day soon.
I’m currently studying Creative Writing and English Literature with a concentration in fiction writing at Southern New Hampshire University. I begin my last year of my Bachelor’s degree in August 2021. Following completion, I am applying to SNHU’s Master of Fine Arts program, focusing on Creative Writing. Outside of social media, I work for a regional bank full time.
