Even angels make mistakes in this page-turning epic romance…

When her parents are murdered before her eyes, sixteen-year-old Helen Cartwright finds herself launched into an underground London where a mysterious organization called the Dictata controls the balance of good and evil. Helen learns that she is one of three remaining angelic descendants charged with protecting the world’s past, present, and future. Unbeknownst to her, she has been trained her whole life to accept this responsibility. Now, as she finds herself torn between the angelic brothers protecting her and the devastatingly handsome childhood friend who wants to destroy her, she must prepare to be brave, to be hunted, and above all to be strong, because temptation will be hard to resist, even for an angel.

Michelle Zink masterfully weaves historical fantasy with paranormal romance to create a gripping tale of love and betrayal.

Michelle Zink does historical fiction like no one else. I just finished Circle of Fire two nights ago (and my review will be up tomorrow!) and I adored it so, so much. Her writing is fluid and beautiful, entrancing and captivating. She created such a gorgeous world with the Prophecy trilogy and I’m so sad to see it over.

At the same time, I’m so excited to see she is keeping to historical fantasy with her newest book! And it sounds like a winner in my book–I love novels that incorporate London in any way, and the premise makes it seem quite delicious, if you ask me.

I always have something to say about a cover so this is no different. I think the cover for A Temptation of Angels is my favorite of all of Michelle’s books! It makes me think that the book is going to be all about mystery. I love it!

Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Jodi Meadows expertly weaves soul-deep romance, fantasy, and danger into an extraordinary tale of new life.

Look at that cover. Just stare at it for a while. Mesmerizing, isn’t it? Of all the 2012 debuts’ covers I’ve seen, this one is my favorite thus far. I’m not even quite sure why that is—maybe it’s the colors, the stare the girl is giving, or maybe it’s the entire thing. I’m not sure. But I know that I adore it.

But you can’t judge a book by its cover, which is why the synopsis is what cemented my excitement for this book. It sounds like it has the potential to be a solid and captivating fantasy. From what I hear so far, it is just that.

I’m definitely eagerly awaiting the day Incarnate hits the shelves because I will be there, snapping it up.

What are you waiting for?

Godspeed was fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.

It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He’s finally free to enact his vision – no more Phydus, no more lies.

But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that’s growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.

In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis mesmerizes us again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.

By now, if you don’t know of my love for Across the Universe, then where have you been!?

I’m kidding—but seriously, I do not have enough words to describe how much I love that book. And waiting for the sequel is torture! Torture, I tell you! The second I saw the cover, I knew it would be as much. I loved the cover of AtU but A Million Suns, in my humble opinion, is even more gorgeous! It’s definitely an eye-catcher.

I’m really excited to see how the romance between Elder and Amy has shaped as well. And with that ending to AtU, I NEED to know what happens. Therefore, I will just quietly weep in this corner over here until January…

*hides face*

The adventures of Tam and Gabriel continue with more time travel, Talents, spy work, and of course, the evil Knights.

Since the gripping conclusion of Once A Witch, Tamsin Greene has been haunted by her grandmother’s prophecy that she will soon be forced to make a crucial decision—one so terrible that it could harm her family forever. When she discovers that her enemy, Alistair Knight, went back in time to Victorian-era New York in order to destroy her family, Tamsin is forced to follow him into the past. Stranded all alone in the nineteenth century, Tamsin soon finds herself disguised as a lady’s maid in the terrifying mansion of the evil Knight family, avoiding the watchful eye of the vicious matron, La Spider, and fending off the advances of Liam Knight. As time runs out, both families square off in a thrilling display of magic. And to her horror, Tamsin finally understands the nature of her fateful choice.

When I found out that Once a Witch, one of my favorite books, would have a sequel, I did this weird, “squee”-type thing. I had hoped and hoped and hoped that MacCullough would not leave us hanging with that ending forever. So, basically, I’m really freaking excited for this one.

Especially to be back with Gabriel.

How could anyone NOT love Gabriel?

What are YOU waiting for?

PS.. hey lovelies! I haven’t posted in TWO WEEKS! Want to know why? OF COURSE YOU DO! First, I had no internet. If you follow my Twitter, you’d see me blabbing on about it last week. But now I have new interwebz and, while still slightly sketchy, I have a lot of upcoming reviews, as I received a HUGE amount of books on Monday in the mail. =D So come back to see them all. I promise you’ll love most, if not all of these books. Oh, and second, I hate the USPS. Which is why my review of Hope in Patience is VERY, VERY late.

A love out of time. A spaceship built of secrets and murder.

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awake on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into a brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.

Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone—one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship—tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn’t do something soon, her parents will be next.

Now, Amy must race to unlock Godspeed’s hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there’s only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

Space! Lies! Love! Murder!

What else could you possibly want in a book? *happy sigh* I’ve already told you how much I’m dying to read this, so do I need to repeat? I do? Okay. It is my #1 most anticipated book of 2011. What are YOU waiting for?
